Hey vivijim,

My n800 screen has recently started rolling vertically as old tv s used to (needed to tweak vertical hold back then). I suppose vertical sync is what is responsible for it on the lcd.

Do you have any advice on what could be wrong? It’s almost certainly a hardware problem since initially the screen would start rolling a bit and then resync back into position and slowly the amount of rolling got worse and presently it’s rolling at a constant speed.

I’m asking you since you seem to have good knowledge of at least the software control. Are there any s/w diagnostic tools that i could run to check what’s wrong? (sorry to be posting on the rotation blog but suggest me an alternate)

Hey Dave, the latest jott’s packages have already fixed some bugs…
check them out and let me know if you continue having problem…

I’ve just noticed that I cannot see any video I don’t know yet what’s wrong, but I’ve noticed that something is consuming to much memory…

I’ll investigate it when have some free time…

Right now I’m attending Bossa Conference.

Rotates great. I have only found one issue of note, my camera on the n800 no longer displays on the screen. It still takes pictures, but it is a guess at best as tto what I am shooting.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any ideas oon how to fix this?

I am flashed my N800 with new kernel and install recomended software.

My n800 rotate screen very well.
