Making your own Debian Repository from scratch
There are so many reasons to why you want to make your own debian repository:
- You have deb packages like mplayer, java (argh!!) or anyone else and want to let them available to easy install
- You want to make your own distro from scratch based on debian instead of follow the LSF (Linux From Scratch – http://www.linuxfromscratch.org)
For this you should first understand the Debian Repository.
After this, You should use a good tool to make and manage your repository like reprepro. To do this read this links:
- reprepro manpage
- Setting up and managing an APT repository with reprepro
- reprepro howto
